This website is operated by the Interracial Sisterhood Coalition. Throughout the site, the terms "we", "us" and "our" refer to the Interracial Sisterhood Coalition. The Interracial Sisterhood Coalition offers this website, including all information, tools and services available from this site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies and notices stated here. By visiting our site, providing us information, viewing information presented on our site, and/or registering and paying to be in our program, you engage in our "Service" and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions ("Terms of Service", "Terms") as well as the Privacy Policy included here and including those additional terms and conditions and policies referenced herein and/or available by hyperlink. These Terms of Service apply to all users of the site, including without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, cohort members and/or contributors of content. Please read these Terms of Service carefully before accessing or using our website. By accessing or using any part of the site, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, then you may not access the website or use any services. If these Terms of Service are considered an offer, acceptance is expressly limited to these Terms of Service. We reserve the right to update, change or replace any part of these Terms of Service by posting updates and/or changes to our website. Our site is hosted by Squarespace. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.

By agreeing to these Terms of Service, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence, or that you are the age of majority in your state or province of residence and you have given us your consent to allow any of your minor dependents to use this site. We reserve the right to refuse any order or donation you place with us. We may, in our sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased, per household or per order or limit donations as such. These restrictions may include orders placed by or under the same customer account, the same credit card, and/or orders that use the same billing and/or shipping address. In the event that we make a change to or cancel an order, we may attempt to notify you by contacting the e-mail and/or billing address/phone number provided at the time the order or donation was made. We reserve the right to limit or prohibit orders that, in our sole judgment. You agree to provide current, complete and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made at our site. You agree to promptly update your account and other information, including your email address and credit card numbers and expiration dates, so that we can complete your transactions or donations and contact you as needed.

We may provide you with access to third-party tools over which we neither monitor nor have any control nor input. You acknowledge and agree that we provide access to such tools "as is" and "as available" without any warranties, representations or conditions of any kind and without any endorsement. Any use by you of optional tools offered through the site is entirely at your own risk and discretion and you should ensure that you are familiar with and approve of the terms on which tools are provided by the relevant third-party provider(s). You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Insure Equality and our parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, officers, directors, agents, contractors, licensors, service providers, subcontractors, suppliers, interns and employees, harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys' fees, made by any third-party due to or arising out of your breach of these Terms of Service or the documents they incorporate by reference, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third-party.

SECTION 15 - SEVERABILITY
In the event that any provision of these Terms of Service is determined to be unlawful, void or unenforceable, such provision shall nonetheless be enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, and the unenforceable portion shall be deemed to be severed from these Terms of Service, such determination shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any other remaining provisions.

The obligations and liabilities of the parties incurred prior to the termination date shall survive the termination of this agreement for all purposes. These Terms of Service are effective unless and until terminated by either you or us. You may terminate these Terms of Service at any time by notifying us that you no longer wish to use our Services, or when you cease using our site. SECTION 18 - GOVERNING LAW
Interracial Sisterhood Coalition and this website are controlled by us from our offices within the state of California, United States of America. It can be accessed from all 50 states, as well as from other countries around the world. As each of these places has laws that may differ from those of California, by using this website and/or services we provide, both of us agree that the statutes and laws of the State of California, without regard to the conflicts of laws principles thereof and the United Nations Convention on the International Sales of Goods, will apply to all matters relating to the use of the website and the purchase or use of products and services available through the website. Each of us agrees and hereby submits to the exclusive personal jurisdiction and venue of any court of competent jurisdiction or arbitrator in the city of Chicago, Illinois with respect to such matters.


In the event of a dispute, the parties agree that we, in our sole discretion, may choose to resolve such dispute by binding arbitration under California’ then-current arbitration rules and statutes as administered by the American Arbitration Association in accordance with its Commercial Arbitration Rules and Mediation Procedures (“AAA Rules”). If the provisions of California arbitration rules conflict in any way with the AAA rules, the AAA Rules as construed by the arbitrator shall govern. Any such arbitration shall be held in the city of San Francisco, California before a single arbitrator unless the parties agree otherwise. The successful or prevailing party in any such party shall be entitled to recover the prevailing party’s reasonable attorney’s fees and other expenses of the arbitration if the award of attorney’s fees and costs is authorized by civil action involving the same claim(s).

SECTION 4 – Squarespace and Payment Processing
Our site is hosted by Squarespace. They provide us with an online platform that allows us to provide our products and services to you.
Your data may be stored through Squarespace data storage, databases and the general Squarespace application or other suitable system.  We also provide means for you to make donations using Squarespace, Stripe, or other similar payment processors.

Payment:
If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then such payment processors may store your credit card data. It is stored and transmitted according to industry standards abided by according to such entities procedures to include, for example, encryption through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.

Direct payment gateways adhere to industry standard requirements such as the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.

PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our site and its service providers.

SECTION 5 - THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase/donation-related transactions.
